Prototype / MVP
Up to ₹3 Lakhs
You have a working prototype or MVP. We help you refine product-market fit, acquire users, and prepare for fundraising.

- Working prototype or minimum viable product
- Evidence of early user traction or feedback
- Registered or willing to register as a company
- Commitment to mentoring and demo day
Early Revenue
Up to ₹5 Lakhs
You're generating revenue and need support to scale operations, expand your team, or enter new markets.
Eligibility
- Demonstrable monthly revenue or paying customers
- Registered Indian company (Pvt Ltd / LLP)
- Clear roadmap for scaling with grant funds
- Willingness to provide progress reports

A flagship initiative of the Department of Science & Technology (DST) to nurture technology-driven startups through funding, incubation, mentorship, and infrastructure support. Approved at UPES with a project outlay of ₹4.72 Crore for three years.

How it works.
Who can apply?
Any startup — sector and location agnostic. We welcome founders from across India with innovative, scalable ideas.
Is equity taken?
Grants are non-dilutive. We do not take equity for grant funding. Angel investment is a separate track.
What's the selection process?
Applications are reviewed by a panel. Shortlisted teams go through interviews and are selected based on innovation potential, team strength, and scalability.
What support comes with the grant?
Beyond funding, you get mentoring, incubation program access, lab and workspace at UPES, and networking with investors and industry leaders.
